okay real talk Whiterose shippers are not the clowns here actually: the writers are. how can you write Weiss and Ruby's relationship as a main plot point for V1 which is the main driver for both of their individual arcs and then neglect it for the rest of the show. how can you feature them front and center in the V6 intro, Weiss holding Ruby up and being her support, when Ruby is the one doing the actual supporting in just a few small shots throughout the actual volume. how can you set their weapons, extensions of themselves, side by side in the V8 intro and barely let them have a moment to themselves or directly support one another in the actual volume. how can you put Ruby and Weiss together as partners and have them barely function like that beyond V1-3. how can you feature V1 callbacks in V9 and not have a single callback to Weiss being the first critic of Ruby's leadership in a time when she's now questioning it more than ever. how can you miss such a plainly perfect opportunity to develop these characters in conjuction.
